The Silex Banking Company Internet Banking Service offers access to your account information 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year. Best of all, access to Internet Banking is free! Internet banking allows existing customers the following conveniences:

Pay your bills online with our online Bill Pay service. This service avoids the expense of envelopes, stamps and checks.

Mobile Banking

Mobile Banking gives you access to your accounts from a mobile web browser or a downloadable mobile banking application, depending on your preference and phone capabilities.

  • No charge is associated with this service.  However, there may be charges associated with text messaging and data usage on your phone.  Check with your wireless provider for more information.
  • Mobile Banking service utilizes best practices from online banking, such as HTTPS, 128 bit SSL encryption, password access and application time-out when your phone is not in use.  Only the phones you personally enroll can access your accounts. No account information is stored on your phone. In the event your phone is lost or stolen, the service can be immediately disabled by going online to www.silexbank.com or calling us at 573-384-5221.
  • All popular US wireless carriers are supported.
  • Text messaging and/or data plan is typically needed.
  • You must enroll in Online Banking before using Mobile Banking. 
  • To sign up for Mobile Banking, sign in to Internet Banking at www.silexbank.com and click on the “User Services” tab. Under the “Manage Account” section, you will find a Mobile Banking Enrollment link to click on.  This will guide you through the mobile banking enrollment and activation process. 
  • You will be required to activate your enrollment.  This ensures security.  After you enroll a phone, you will receive an activation code which will be required to begin using Text or Mobile Banking. 
  • Activation codes expire after 24 hours.  If you need a new one, return to the Mobile Banking enrollment area and request a new activation code. 
  • Our Mobile Banking app can be found through the App Store or Google Play by doing a search for Silex Bank or Silex Banking Company.
  • If you do not or cannot use an app, you can use the following address to access mobile banking: https://mBanking.firstdata.com/wap/home/sbcsmo/en.
  • Text Banking gives you access to your accounts via text (SMS) messages on your phone.  It is a fast, easy way to look up account balances and recent account history by sending a text command to a shortcode.
  • All text messages should be sent to 96865.
  • The Text Banking commands are as follows:

  • You can use both Text Banking and Mobile Banking from the same phone. Both options will need to be activated on your phone prior to use.
  • If you get a new phone or change phone numbers, be sure to return to Mobile Banking area via your PC and update your phone profile.  It is best to remove your old phone and re-enroll your new phone.
